Terms of Service

Simple, transparent rules for using FounderVoice AI — written for humans, not lawyers.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FounderVoice AI ("we", "our", or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including founders, startup leaders, venture capitalists, and any other individuals who access the platform.

2. Service Description

FounderVoice AI is a LinkedIn branding and content generation tool built for Indian founders and venture capitalists. The Service provides:

  • Voice Cloning: AI-powered analysis of your writing style to create a personalised voice profile using Google Gemini.
  • Content Generation: Automated LinkedIn post drafts generated in your unique voice, powered by real-time Indian business news.
  • News Aggregation: Curated business hooks from sources like Livemint, Economic Times, YourStory, and others.
  • Post Scheduling: Tools to schedule, manage, and organise your LinkedIn content calendar.
  • Multi-language Support: Content generation in both English and Hinglish.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
  • You must have a valid Google account to sign in and access the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • One person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is prohibited.

4. Your Account

4.1 Account Creation

  • Accounts are created via Google OAuth sign-in. We do not support email/password registration.
  • By signing in, you authorise us to access your Google account name, email, and profile photo.
  • You may optionally link your LinkedIn profile URL for enhanced personalisation.

4.2 Account Security

  • You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been compromised.

4.3 Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@intelligentwebdevelopers.com.
  • Upon termination, all your data — including voice profiles, drafts, and scheduled posts — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or promotes violence or discrimination.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Generate spam, phishing, or misleading content for distribution on LinkedIn or any other platform.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in an unauthorised manner.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Use the Service to generate content that violates LinkedIn's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Share, sell, or redistribute your account access or generated content for commercial resale purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

  • You retain full ownership of the LinkedIn posts you import and the content you generate using the Service.
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., voice analysis, draft generation).
  • We do not claim ownership over any content you create, import, or generate.

6.2 Our Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, logo, UI, underlying algorithms, and brand identity, is owned by FounderVoice AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.
  • The FounderVoice AI name, logo, and branding are our trademarks. You may not use them without prior written consent.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

  • Content generated by the AI is provided as drafts and suggestions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing any content.
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free of errors, biases, or inaccuracies.
  • You acknowledge that AI-generated content may occasionally resemble content created by others. We are not liable for any such similarities.

7. Fees & Payment

  • FounderVoice AI currently offers a free tier with core features at no cost.
  • We may introduce paid plans in the future. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any features become paid-only.
  • If paid plans are introduced, billing will be handled through a secure third-party payment processor.
  • All fees, once paid, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice to existing users.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

  • The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Service.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.

8.2 AI Limitations

  • AI-generated content is not professional advice — it is a creative drafting tool.
  • We do not guarantee that generated posts will increase your LinkedIn engagement, followers, or reach.
  • The voice cloning feature produces approximate representations of your writing style. Results may vary.
  • News-based content hooks are sourced from publicly available data and may not reflect the latest information at time of posting.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, FounderVoice AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000; whichever is greater.
  • We are not responsible for any third-party content, services, or actions, including LinkedIn's handling of your posted content.

The Service integrates with and relies on third-party services. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FounderVoice AI, its founders, team members, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service or any content you generate, publish, or distribute using the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Any third-party claim arising from content you posted on LinkedIn or any other platform using drafts generated by the Service.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
  • Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
  • If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Bengaluru, conducted in English, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Provide notice via an in-app notification for significant changes.
  • Give at least 15 days' notice before any material changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Severability & Waiver

  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FounderVoice AI regarding the use of the Service.
