• Content Generation: Using your voice profile along with real-time Indian business news to generate LinkedIn post drafts.
• Scheduling & Reminders: Storing your scheduled posts and sending browser notifications when it's time to publish.
• Account Management: Authenticating your identity and personalising your dashboard experience.
• Service Improvement: Understanding usage patterns to improve features and fix bugs (aggregated, anonymised data only).

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using **Google Firebase** (Firestore database and Authentication) hosted on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:

• Encryption in transit: All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
• Encryption at rest: Firestore data is encrypted at rest by default on Google Cloud.
• Authentication: Access to your data requires authentication via Google OAuth 2.0.
• Firestore Security Rules: Database rules ensure users can only read and write their own data.
• No shared access: Your voice profile, drafts, and scheduled posts are private and accessible only to your authenticated account.

We use the following third-party services to operate FounderVoice AI:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, database (Firestore), and hosting.
• Google Gemini AI: Powers our voice cloning and content generation engine. Your posts and voice profile are sent to Google's AI API for processing. See Google's AI Privacy Policy.
• Google OAuth 2.0: Secure sign-in via your Google account.
• News APIs: We fetch publicly available Indian business news headlines — no personal data is shared with news providers.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update or correct any inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can delete scheduled posts from the dashboard. To delete your entire account, contact us.
• Portability: Export your voice profile and generated content.
• Withdraw Consent: Revoke your Google sign-in at any time, which will prevent further access to your data through our Service.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

FounderVoice AI uses essential cookies and browser local storage for the following purposes:

• Authentication session: Maintaining your signed-in state across page loads.
• Local caching: Storing your voice profile and draft content locally for instant loading (keys: fv_voice_profile, fv_intake_posts, fv_current_draft).
• Theme preference: Remembering your light/dark mode choice.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Voice profiles & drafts: Stored until you delete them or close your account.
• Scheduled posts: Retained until you delete them or they are published.
• Upon account deletion: All associated data (voice profile, drafts, scheduled posts, LinkedIn connection) is permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

FounderVoice AI is designed for professional founders and business leaders. Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, via an in-app notification.
